17 Aug 10 Poonam Kaur out of Thriller
She had earlier acted in few Tamil films including Nenju Irukum Varai. The shooting of the film was taking place in a studio in Kerala. When the dialogue sheet was given to her, she found it difficult to speak the dialogues in spite of the hero Prithviraj and Unni Krishnan assisting her. Because of this they have removed. Member of the production unit said,” We stopped the shooting and gave her the training to speak the dialogues but in vain. Because of this we had removed her from the film. Now we have signed Kannada actress Kathin Teresa.”
Thriller is a film which is being made in Tamil and Malayalam. The film which is based on the murder of a famous jewelry show room owner in Kerala a few months ago is being directed Unni Krishnan. An actress is also involved in this murder case. So Poonam Kaur was selected to do the role.
17 Aug 10 Actress Jayachitra says the reason for directing her son
He had acted in few scenes in the film Sivaranjani directed by me. After seeing hi, act, I decided to bring him into cinema. But at that time I did not know that I will be directing the film in which he is doing the lead role. I contacted P Vasu and requested to direct a film with my son in the lead role. He was not able to do so because he was busy with other films. Then I approached K S Ravikumar but he had a high budgeted story. So I met Balachandar and told him my plight. He told me to direct the film. Because of this I became a director. The story of the film is about the incidents that happen in the life of a college student. Every student after completing his studies will be in confused state of mind of what to become. The screenplay will clear this confusion.” 
Actress Jayachitra son Amaresh is debuting as hero in the film Naane Ennul Illai. This film is being produced and directed by Jayachitra. While speaking about this film, she said,” I did not have the plan of making my son an actor. He was interested in music.
17 Aug 10 Anaya says that she is willing to do glamour roles
Anaya recently while speaking to the media said,” Nobody would have got the opportunity to do the role which I did in Nadodigal. After the hit of the film, I got the character which I expected to do. The film is Seedan. There are lots of chances for this film to reach me to the audience in a good way. Lot of debutant directors have narrated the stories. Since I am currently acting in two Malayalam films, I was not able to concentrate in Tamil cinema. Vasanthabalan’s assistant Sriram Balan has narrated a story to me. I liked it very much. In short while I will start acting in Tamil films continuously. With regard to Malayalam films, I got big offers within few years of me coming to act. I am really happy that I got these offers. I am acting with big stars like Amitabh Bachchan and Mohanlal in Kandahar and Shikar. There is only one song remaining to be shot for Shikar. Scenes pertaining to me for the film Kandahar are to be shot this week. Amitabh sir scenes are over. This film will be an innovative film in Indian cinema. In cinema life, all things which I have not expected is happening on its own. I will escalate to the next level in my cinema career after the release of these two films. People are asking me whether is donning the role of my mother. Yes. All her scenes are in flashback. There is no scene in which I and Sneha have acted together. As far as my knowledge she is the mother of baby Anaya. I heard that the media has made a big issue out of it. There is nothing more to talk about it. I will act in glamour roles but I will not cross the limits.”
Anaya who had acted in Nadodigal is now busy acting with Amitabh Bachchan and Mohanlal in the film Kandahar and with Mohanlal in Shikar. In Tamil she is acting in Seedan and a film directed by the assistant of Vasanthabalan.
17 Aug 10 Hashika speaks tells that how she got the acting chance
Sree Mahesh who had directed Chatrapathi is now directing a film titled Malar Mel Nillai Palli. Prem Naseer is doing the lead role. Hashika, a new face is pairing with him. When asked Hashika that how did she get the chance to act, she said,” This is my first film and my name in the film is Malar. I am very happy. I am donning the role of Plus 2 student. I am acting as a good girl of parents. In real life I am not scared of anything. But I will respect my parent’s and affection. The cinematographer of this film saw my photos and recommended me for this role to the director. Since the director also liked me, I am acting in this film. I am studying BE Second year in Bangalore. Apart from studying I use to participate in the fashion shows. I also acted in Ad films for the popular jewellery and textiles show rooms. Right from my young age I am learning classical dance. After getting the chance to act I am concentrating on dance a little more. Next I will be acting in a Telugu film which has Mohan Babu’s son Manoj. I am also signed for two more Tamil films. But only after the release of Malar Mel Nillai Palli, the others will come to know that which role will be suitable for me. I know Tamil, Telugu, Hindi, Kannada and English languages. I will act in homely as well as glamour roles.”
17 Aug 10 Bharathi in her second innings
While speaking about this, she said, ‘I had acted in ten films in Tamil and Malayalam languages. The last film I acted was a Malayalam film titled Ayudham which had Suresh Gopi in the lead role. Ammuvagiya Naan earned me a good name. But because of my marriage I was not able to act in films. Now I have a daughter. I have fulfilled my family duties. So I am getting ready to act in films. Since I was very careful about my physique after my marriage, my physique will look same as before my marriage I know it is very difficult to get heroine roles after marriage. That is why I am now choosing character roles that have significance.”
Bharathi had earlier acted as heroine in films including Ammuvagiya Naan. But all of a sudden she quit acting because she got married. Now once again she is gearing up to act.
