In between I got an opportunity to act in a Telugu film which Junior NTR in the lead role. There are also rumours that I am demanding more salary and that is the reason that I am not getting offers. Can anyone prove that whether I have demanded excess salary? But will anyone act without asking about the salary.

The directors know that what they should pay me. I have never demanded excess salary. Earning money is not my criteria. I am getting offers in Malayalam, Telugu and Kannada. The reason for this is Ko’s success. I am also interested to act in Hindi films.

We will wait and see. Some big hero might call me. There was news recently that my sister Thulasi is also going to act in the films. There is no truth in that news. She is studying 9th standard only. But she is going to definitely act. My mother will make an announcement regarding this. There is more time for this to happen.”

An actress should be able to do all kinds of roles. Many are asking me that I will lose the attraction of the audience if I continue to act in glamour roles. If there is excessive glamour people will get bored very soon. But if story demands glamour then we can easily enter the hearts of the audience. But in future I will be giving importance to performance.

Then I can easily carve a niche for myself in the hearts of the people. I am following the footsteps of Kushboo, Simran and Jyothika.”

She is currently sharing the screen with Junior NTR and Trisha in the Telugu film titled Dhammu. At this juncture there is also news that Karthika is donning the female lead role in Bharathiraja film.

When asked Karthika about this, she said, “I was getting lots of offers in Tamil after Ko. But I was waiting for a good story like Ko. Next I am donning the female lead role in the film directed by Bharathiraja. The announcement regarding this will be made in due course.

Many are asking that whether I am pairing with Simbhu in the film directed by Vetrimaaran. I am not pairing with Simbhu in this film. But I will pair with Simbhu very soon.”

We know about your father very much but tell us about your mother?

My mother is a doctor. My mother is also a role model to me like my father. She has never treated me as a child. Since I am the only child, I will never misuse the freedom they have given me. I am very sincere to their faith they have on me.

There is news that you have a big library in your house?

Yes. The library belongs to my father. In my younger days I use to read the books from my father’s library. My father use to have big collections of books. These books pertain to Malayalam literature, politics, religion and psychology. When I was young, my father use to tell me not to read heavy materials to read light books. But I will read my father’s books only. When I was taking a big Shakespeare book my father caught me.

At this moment do you have any desire?

I am very happy now. I have got everything. The only thing I missed was Valentine date, but there is no problem about that and I am not sad about that.

Have you been involved in relationships?

I was never in relationship till now. I was very firm and made a decision that I should not have relationship. In the age of 14 I took up modeling. Now I am in cinema. Till this moment all my concentration is in cinema only.

Then who is your boy friend?

I studied in St Teresa College in Cochin. But that was a ladies college. Because of this I did not have the chance to move with boys of my age group. Now after coming to cinema most of the heroes are married. Some are very elderly person. Because of this there is no chance of boy friend for me.

How are you managing the media there?

I have a formula for that. No overreaction= Peace of mind. This is the secret of my formula.

Since the film was a great hit there was great dissatisfaction among the people against Simbhu. Jeeva also mentioned that Simbhu was never his friend and also added that he has stabbed him in the back.

Jai condemned Jeeva because he had commented on Simbhu. At a point where the cold war continues, there was news that Simbhu prevented Richa from pairing with Jeeva. Ahamad is directing a new film which is having Jeeva in the lead role. It is understood that Richa was selected for the female lead role. It seems that Richa who had initially agreed for this has later on rejected this offer.

Richa is currently pairing with Simbhu in Osthi. There were rumours that Simbhu has only prevented Richa from pairing with Jeeva.

When asked Richa about this, she said,” Nobody has approached me to pair with Jeeva. The news that Simbhu has prevented me to pair with Jeeva are mere rumors. Neither Simbhu nor anyone interferes with my decisions with regard to my profession.”

Simbhu has also denied this news.

Though her first two films were failures, her third film Velayudham gave her a helping hand. This film has become a super duper hit and because of this there are talks about Hansika all around Kodambakkam. All are singing praises about her because of her magnanimity, her cordial adjustments with the producers and flexibility in the salary matters. Hansika who is in high spirits after the success of Velayudham says that she has not seen the film.

She while speaking to the media said, “I will never see the films in which I have acted. I will not see my films in future also. I will not be seeing Velayudham also. I am a big criticizer. What will happen if I get angered if I had not acted well in a sequence? But my mother and friends after seeing Velayudham are appreciating me very much. I am also reading the reviews of this film. I don’t know how to thank director Raja and Vijay for utilizing my talents so much.”

Hansika is currently pairing with Udhayanidhi Stalin in Oru Kal Oru Kannadi and with Simbhu in Vettai Mannan. Hansika is very confident that both these films will be a great success.

Her mere appearance on the screen itself will titillate the audience. The only film she did not act glamorously was Deiva Thirumagal. Anushka will look beautiful either if she is dressed fully or semi clad. Because of this she has more number of fans.

The producers approach her for sexy roles because she is bold enough to don glamour roles. But recently when she was approached to don a role wearing a bikini, she bluntly refused.

Many in the industry was shocked that what made this bold Anushka to change her mind. Then there was news from reliable sources that she has changed her mind as per the advice of her secret friend.

Ilayaraja who had been to Hyderabad to compose music was informed about his wife’s demise. He arrived in the early hours.

She is survived by Ilayaraja, sons Yuvan Shankar Raja and Karthik Raja and daughter Bhavatharani.

Mankatha is Ajith’s 50th film. Mankatha was a super hit film which was well received by people. Producer Dayanidhi Azhagiri will give detailed reports of the collections made by Mankatha in due course.

At this point of time, this film Mankatha is being remade in Hindi. The Hindi remake rights have been acquired by Gnanavel Raja. He was the one who was supposed to release Mankatha in Tamil Nadu.

Gnanavel Raja while speaking about remaking of Mankatha in Hindi said, ” Yes. It is true that we have acquired rights of Mankatha to remake this film in Hindi. We will be making the announcement regarding this soon. It has not been decided that who will be the part of this film. We are on the job of finalizing the cast and crew. The official announcement will made after November 15th.”

There were also news that Sarath Kumar will be donning the role which Vijayakanth had donned in the original version and that Vincent Selva who directed films like Youth will be directing this film.

When enquired Vincent Selva about this, he said, ” I don’t know who is directing Oomai Vizhigal. I am not directing it. Anybody can remake this film. It is possible to give the same enormous by utilizing a heavy cast. But who is there now to compose music and re-recording which was done for the film.

Somebody should be born again to give that kind of music. It is better not to remake this film.”
