For the first time I got the offer to act in this film. I am donning the role of school student. My character is that I will love my co-student. In real life, when I was studying in 7th standard two boys gave me love letter.
When I was studying Plus 2, four people expressed their love. I told them that my ambition is to become a big actress and avoided them.
I am willing to act in kissing scenes and swimming scenes if it is necessary for the story.”
09 Aug 10 Director A C Mukhil says that he is happy to direct his mentor’s son
Director a c Mukhil said,” I am overjoyed that I am directing my mentor Bhagyaraj’s son Santhanoo in the film Kanden.”
T C R is producing this film which has Santhanoo in the lead role under the banner Sri Shiva Selvi Nayagi Anban Movies. Reshmi is doing the female lead role.
The director while further speaking about the film said,” I have learnt cinema from Bhagyaraj, Pandiarajan and Prabhu Deva. So the screenplay of this film will be strong like Bhagyaraj’s film. The comedy scenes will be like that of Pandiarajan’s film and the youthfulness will be like Prabhu Deva’s films. I have narrated the story in a different style.
T Mishal who was the assistant to cinematographer Nirav Shah is handling the camera for this film. Vijay Ebenezer who was the assistant to music composer Harris Jayaraj is composing the music for this film. In a similar way Anthony Ruban who was an assistant to the editor Anthony is in charge of editing.
Vaali, Thamarai and Ravindran has penned the lyrics. Apart from them Krish has also penned lyrics for two songs. Thirteen years back the film Dum Dum Dum was shot in Thanjavur Big Temple. Now we have shot a song sequence there featuring 100 junior artists. This will be the highlight of the film.”
09 Aug 10 Inidhu Inidhu is a youthful film
Prakash Raj who produced films like Azhagiya Theeye, Mozhi and Abhiyum Naanum is now producing a film titled Inidhu Inidhu under the banner Duet Movies. Cinematographer K V Gugan is directing this film.
While speaking about this film, the director said,” This film will celebrate friendship. The story of the film will be different from the usual hero and heroine story.
Actors Adith, Narayanan, Vimal, Sharan, Reshmi, Sonia Banaras and Gia are new faces. We had selected these actors after conducting audition among 2000 students from various colleges. I have registered the pragmatic college life in this film.
Though we become old, there will youthfulness in our minds. This film will be the celebration of that youthfulness. Mickey J Mayor has composed the music with youthfulness for the lyrics penned by Vairamuthu. This film is not only for the youths but also for the old students.”
