Hansika says that there is nothing wrong in acting in glamour roles.

When asked Hansika that how was it possible for her to act so intimately with Vijay in Velayudham, she said, ” As per the story I am a girl who loves Vijay very much. The role is that I will do anything for the sake of Vijay. There was so much of deepness in the love for him. Since the story demanded I acted glamorously. There is nothing wrong it.

An actress should be able to do all kinds of roles. Many are asking me that I will lose the attraction of the audience if I continue to act in glamour roles. If there is excessive glamour people will get bored very soon. But if story demands glamour then we can easily enter the hearts of the audience. But in future I will be giving importance to performance.

Then I can easily carve a niche for myself in the hearts of the people. I am following the footsteps of Kushboo, Simran and Jyothika.”
