Jayaram does a lead role in Tamil film

After a long time, Jayaram is acting as a hero in a Tamil film titled Sabash Sariyana Potti. T V actor Venu Aravind is directing this film.

After Julie Ganapathy which was released in 2003, Jayaram had acted in character roles in films like Saroja and Dhaam Dhoom. Now he is doing the lead role in the film titled Sabash Sariyana Potti. Sree Ranjani is pairing with him. Thaman is composing the music.

The story of the film is about a popular film hero. His relatives force him to enter politics. What happens after this is rest of the story. Comedy is given importance in this film. The shooting of the film has been completed and is expected for an early release.
